• Specify finished holes, coverlay openings, impedance and dimensional tolerances.

Agree before the order starts

• Specify the required IPC-2223 design and IPC-6013 performance framework, revision and acceptance class in the RFQ.
• Confirm bend conditions, approved construction and inspection scope with engineering.

What is a rigid-flex PCB?

As the name suggests, it is a circuit board that integrates rigid PCB and flexible circuit board technology.

Rigid-flex technology can improve the PCB boards for bending stiffness, making them more stable and reliable during operation. Adding rigid components to PCB boards, such as metal plates or reinforcement materials, increases the mechanical strength of the PCB and reduces the possibility of PCB board deformation. At the same time, flexible components can improve their heat resistance and cold resistance.
