One supplier for PCB fabrication, BOM sourcing and assembly
Send your board files and bill of materials to YT Electronic for a coordinated turnkey build. We bring fabrication, component procurement, SMT and through-hole assembly, and the agreed inspection and test steps into one quotation.
- Choose full turnkey, partial turnkey or a consigned build according to which materials you supply.
- Receive a project-specific review of component availability, manufacturing questions and test requirements.
- Standard assembly: within 20 days after deposit; accepted expedited projects: within 3 days after deposit.
What is included in a full turnkey PCB assembly quotation?
Full turnkey means that we source the bare boards and the components needed to assemble your approved design. The quotation identifies the manufacturing scope, materials, assembly work and agreed testing. Enclosure work, programming, fixtures, packaging and logistics should be listed explicitly when your project requires them.
| Workstream | What to confirm before ordering |
|---|---|
| PCB fabrication | Gerbers or fabrication data, stack-up, material, thickness, copper, finish and panel requirements. |
| Component sourcing | Manufacturer part numbers, quantities, approved suppliers, lifecycle concerns and your substitution rules. |
| Assembly | SMT, through-hole and mixed assembly, placement data, polarity, special handling and workmanship requirements. |
| Inspection and testing | Which AOI, X-ray, ICT, functional testing and programming steps apply, including fixtures and acceptance criteria. |
| Delivery | Quantity, packaging, destination, standard or expedited schedule and separately quoted transit time. |
Files to send for an accurate turnkey quote
- Gerber files and drill data, or the manufacturing output package available from your CAD tool.
- An editable BOM with reference designators, quantities and manufacturer part numbers. Mark customer-supplied parts and approved alternatives.
- Pick-and-place / centroid data, assembly drawings and any polarity or orientation notes.
- Order quantity, expected repeat volumes, target delivery date and shipping destination.
- Programming files, functional test procedures and fixture requirements if these services are needed.
If your files are incomplete, send what you have and identify the missing items. We will clarify the remaining questions before confirming production scope. Parts will not be substituted without agreement on the alternative.
How your build moves from RFQ to shipment
- Engineering review: We review the manufacturing package and raise DFM, assembly and material questions.
- Quotation and approval: You confirm the scope, BOM decisions, test plan and delivery schedule.
- Procurement and production: Boards and parts are prepared for the approved assembly revision.
- Inspection and testing: We apply the inspection and test steps agreed for the project and resolve exceptions before release.
- Release and delivery: Packaging and shipment follow the confirmed order instructions.
Lead times, repeat builds and project fit
Standard PCB assembly is completed within 20 days after receipt of deposit. Expedited assembly is available within 3 days after receipt of deposit for accepted rush projects. The expedited schedule, material availability and test scope are confirmed in your quotation.
Rush availability depends on the board design, component availability, test preparation and the production slot accepted in the quote. An assembly lead time is separate from freight transit. Tell us about a fixed launch date before placing the order so that the schedule can be assessed.
Turnkey is useful when you want one coordination point for sourcing and assembly. If you own the materials, compare consigned PCB assembly. For an initial design build, see prototype PCB assembly. For multiple part numbers and changing quantities, see low-volume, high-mix assembly.
Frequently asked purchasing questions
Can you quote assembly if some components are unavailable?
Yes. Identify the affected BOM lines and any approved alternatives. We can review sourcing options, but availability and substitutions must be resolved in the quotation.
Does turnkey include functional testing?
The test scope is project-specific. Provide your functional test procedure, firmware, fixture information and pass/fail criteria so the required work can be quoted.
Can a prototype become a repeat production order?
Keep the approved fabrication package, BOM revision and test requirements together. Changes between builds should be reviewed so that purchasing and manufacturing use the same revision.
